SHREE DATTA VEDA GURUKULAM

The Gurukulam, established in 2012, is dedicated to promoting Indian culture and providing education in ancient Vedic and Sanskrit studies, as well as modern education. It is registered and affiliated with MSRVVP and MSRVSSB Ujjain (Maharshi Sandipani Rastriya Veda Vidya Pratishthan and Maharshi Sandipani Rastriya Veda Sanskrit Shiksha Board, Government of India).

About Education

Shree Datta Veda Gurukulam offers education in Krishna Yajurveda Taittiriya Shakha, [veda mulanth] along with Sanskrit, English, Social Science, Mathematics, and Science. The curriculum is structured by MSRVSSB and is a 7-year course where students receive both Vedic Education and General Education. The board conducts exams annually, and the 7th-year certificate is considered equivalent to 12th grade.

Other Details

1. This complete residential education program is exclusively for boys, offering free education and meals.

2. Eligible candidates must have completed at least 5th grade and be between 11 and 16 years old.

3. Students will receive a monthly Scholarship of Rs. 1500.

4. The Program is a 7-year course, with the 5th year equivalent to 10th grade (Veda Bhushana) and the 7th year equivalent to 12th grade (Veda Vibhushana).

5. The gurukulam is registered under the Gurushishya Parampara, with only 10 students receiving scholarships. This opportunity provides a unique and traditional approach to education, fostering a supportive and enriching environment for young boys to excel and grow.

6. Admission takes place between April to May every year.

7. Before admission Interview will be conducted where the child will be tested about their reading and writing ability.
